Secolve Update: April 2023
We are only a few months into 2023, and?it's been such a busy year for critical infrastructure organisations and cyber security, so far!?
The Australian Government passed the final part of the SOCI Act and the CIRMP (Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program) was passed last month. Organisations have until August to start aligning with the new obligations.??
There are 82 organisations currently considered SoNS (system of national significance), who have greater obligations to meet, and potentially another 90 to come.??
We went to the CISC conference in Sydney and heard about the government’s vision and goals for Australia to be the most cyber-secure nation by 2030. They are taking cyber security for critical infrastructure very seriously, urging us to be prepared for the very real threats and possibilities we need to imagine.?
We have also had three OT security meetups this year in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne! It's been incredible connecting with more of the community. You can?read more about our meetups here, and we’ve just announced our next upcoming meetup in Brisbane which you can RSVP to on?the?Secolve LinkedIn page.??
V2 of the AESCSF is coming out in May. We look forward to hearing what these changes will be and expect there will be an uptake in organisations doing AESCSF for the first time. We’re excited to work with organisations to navigate these changes and help them through this journey.??
Our video-based OT security awareness training platform,?OT-SAT, has been a huge focus for the business this year. Our first set of modules are live on the platform, and we are working hard in the background creating more engaging OT security?content,?and building additional platform features. This is something we are very excited for as a business, and we are ready to help uplift OT cyber security awareness across CI organisations. Reach out to our team now for a demo of the platform!?
Lastly, we were stoked to have won the Nozomi APJ Market Influencer of the Year Award in Bali. We’ve really enjoyed the partnership and look forward to many more wins together!?
