SecLAN is the ultimate network with a lightning-fast speed of 2.4 GBPS, Expediting various processes of the Government of Bihar.

Sec LAN or Secretariat Local Area Network is a Local Area Network for all the Government office in and around Secretariat (SecLAN) and connectivity to State Data Centre (SDC) at Technology Bhawan, Bailey Road, Patna. It is used to extend the success of computerization for Government of Bihar.

Project Highlights:

?     Total number of LAN nodes provided in various Government Departments: 15264

?     Total number of Departments availing this facility: 44

?     Total number of buildings where SecLAN 2.0 (Secretariat Local Area Network 2.0) is active: 43

?     Internet speed of 2.4 GBPS across the network

?     Total number of Video IP Phone provided to all departmental head of GoB: 50

?     NIC and BSWAN VC services are being utilised over SecLAN 2.0 network

Sec LAN is providing the information and communication technology to drive improved efficiency and responsiveness in day to day administration of the Government. The SecLAN is an edge to accommodate increased collaborative applications.

The SecLAN has connected the Technology Bhawan where the State Data Center and State WAN is located, to all the nine buildings (Old Secretariat, Vikas Bhawan, C.M. Secretariat, Technology Bhawan, Vishveswarya Bhawan, Sinchai Bhawan, Sochana Bhawan, Beltron Bhawan and Lalit Bhawan).
