SEBI reduced fees for Investment Advisors
As per the latest amendment to the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, dated January 13, 2021, SEBI has reduced the registration and renewal fees for individuals, firms and corporates investment advisors.

*As per Investment Advisors regulations registered Investment advisors are required to pay renewal fee to keep the registration valid and the same has to be paid every 5 years. The renewal fee should be paid within 3 months of the date of the expiry of 5 years’ time period as mentioned in registration certificate.
Further vide a corrigendum issued on 20th January, 2021, SEBI has amended the date of applicability of revised fees structure to be applicable w.e.f. April 01, 2021. Earlier it was made applicable w.e.f. date of publication.

4 年Seems SEBI was out of the market on this one. This is amongst the biggest climb downs I have seen in a long time. But good for the market and eco system. To accept an error and correct the status is much appreciated, and for this, SEBI deserves a handshake.
