FLOWER & GARDEN SHOW

THURS-SUN – The Northwest Flower and Garden Festival opens this weekend with displays, seminars, and vendors filling the WA State Convention enter. Support the arboretum and head to the opening night auction and party Wednesday.  

SEWING FAIR

THURS-SUN – The Washington State Fair and Events Center hosts the annual Sewing and Stitchery Expo with over 400 booths and informational seminars. 

JITNEY PLAY

THURS- SUN – The play setup in a worn-down taxi station showcases August Wilson’s play Jitney. Faced with the devastating news that the city is about to shut down their business, Becker and his cab drivers struggle to confront an uncertain future. 

WINE & FOOD

FRI Hearts and Wine hosts an evening of wine tasting paired with appetizers and desserts with a live auction featuring wine and travel adventures. 

RESTAURANT WEEK

FRI – The Wild Alaska Pollock Restaurant week showcases more than 18 of the Puget Sound region’s top restaurants featuring dishes debuting Wild Alaska Pollock.      

NORDIC FILM FESTIVAL

FRI-SUN – See contemporary films featured from Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland, and Denmark.     

CLIMATE CHANGE EXPO

FRI-SUN – Discover the changes in our ecosystems with hands-on activities, live science shows, and local scientists offering expertise. 

BEER EVENT

SAT – Sample special tastings and tours at 110 craft breweries in Washington State.

VINTAGE GLASS

SAT – The Green River Glass Show & Sale displays over 200 tables of collectibles, jewelry, pottery, and 20th -century glass.   

WOMEN’S SHOW

SAT-SUN – The Northwest Women’s Show features seminars on fashion, health, finance, and cooking demonstrations. See celebrity hosts and browse hundreds of vendors in the Tacoma Dome.

FROZEN THE MUSICAL

THROUGH SUN – Head to the Paramount Theatre to watch a Disney production of the popular story, Frozen. The story is taken to new heights with a musical rendition.

CHILDREN’S FILM FEST

THROUGH MAR 8 – The Northwest Film Forum showcases the international cinema for children 3 to 14yrs old.   

SNOW WHITE

THROUGH MAR 15 – Watch a modern spin on the classic take on Snow White at the Seattle Children’s Theatre.

PEACOCK

THROUGH APR 30 – A famous Parisian nightclub recreates the 1920’s at Can Can Theatre in Pike Place Market.
