Thinking about 2024: Milestones in spine care and quality assurance

This year has been marked by significant progress and collaboration:

The Spine Atlas Initiative: Launched in September, this global project brings together over 45 countries to map spine care services and treatment practices, starting with degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis. ?Interest (or early registration) has been impressive! Data collection for hospitals will take place between 1 February and 30 April 2025.

PREPARE REHAB project: EUROSPINE contributed to the first-year milestone of this EU-funded initiative. Focusing on the use of AI and advanced data for musculoskeletal rehabilitation, the project is revolutionising patient outcomes and doctor-patient communication.

Spine Tango multilingual registry: In June, Spine Tango expanded its accessibility by adding Czech and Portuguese languages to its platform and ePROMs, enriching data collection and improving patient engagement worldwide.

Spine Tango 2023 Annual Report: Released in October, the report includes data such as Kaplan-Meier curves for revision rates and insights into patient satisfaction, paving the way for improved spine care practices.
