Season 2 - The Podcast is back! | #10 Confessions of an Agency Owner

It's been a while since my last newsletter but I've jumped back on the mic and Season 2 of the Confessions of an Agency Owner Podcast is back!

Launching a podcast as part of the LinkedIn creator programme last year was pretty stressful and scary. But actually, I quite enjoyed it in the end.

So I've put my big boy pants on and set myself the small goal of recording 40 episodes in 2023! ??

If you’ve not heard the podcast before, in each episode, I invite guests on to explore different topics from new business, team leadership, marketing, personal branding… all the elements involved in running and hopefully growing a successful business.

Season 2 | Episode 1: Trenton Moss - Client Leadership Skills

My first guest in this new season is Trenton Moss, ex-agency owner of 15 years, author of the best-selling book 'Human Powered' and now head coach of Team Sterka, a training and coaching business that creates high-performing teams by improving their people and client leadership skills.?

Trenton’s story is inspirational, his agency suffered 6 months of consecutive losses when his pipeline suddenly dried up. But he turned it around and turned those losses into profit and before eventually selling.?

In this conversation I was keen to explore not only approached leadership and got his team on board when they were so close to bankruptcy but how he used?some of the frameworks and methods he talks about in the book and how he turned things around.?

What's been going on in my world...

There's been so much going on already this year and I've been guilty of not showing up every day on LinkedIn so far, but I have lots of plans in the pipeline for 2023. Here's just a few things going on in my world at the moment.

We retained Google Premier Partner Status!

Some great news this week as we got the email from the Big G confirming we have retained our Google Premier Status.

Each year Google award this certification to the top 3% of PPC agencies in the country based on a number of factors including client retention, growth, product diversification and client spend.

Last year we got a fancy new sign for our office from Google, I'm hoping we get an equally cool decoration or gift this year!

We're exhibiting at the ExCeL London

Next week Honcho are doing our first ever exhibition. It's not something we've tried before so we're going into it with an open mind. The main challenge of course is how do you stand out and get people to chat to you?

You hire a magician of course! ??

We've set up a new LinkedIn page - Marketing Inspiration

In December we launched a new page on LinkedIn called Marketing Inspiration and within 2 months we’ve gained over 23k followers and had over 3 million impressions! ?

Every day we post some of our favourite marketing campaigns from across the globe and the posts have been getting incredible engagement.
