The Search, Your Truth, Dear Mr. President

The Search, Your Truth, Dear Mr. President

"You might as well ask an artist to explain his art or ask a poet to explain his poem. It defeats the purpose. The meaning is only clear through the search."

Time to seek. It’s time to get off your ass (sorry Mom) and find what you are seeking. It’s out there and if you have not seen it, today is the day I beg you to begin looking for what you want.

So many people live their lives lost, never finding their joy, their passion, their purpose in life. I’ve seen my intention, and I ask you do the same. Why are you here? What are you supposed to be doing on a daily basis to help better society? If you don’t know, there are answers, but first, you must seek your truth.

What are you doing to push your life forward?  What are the steps you are taking to make sure that when you take your last breath, your legacy will live long after your human form?

You are here for a reason, but many folks never bother to find out that reason.  You are the lucky one, for some reason you were drawn to these words and now you must decide if you should take action. Should you keep plugging away at life or take my bait and find your true meaning for our world.

This is a red pill moment. This is a date, a time, a moment that you can stop and think outside yourself. Why are you here? What is your mission? What can you do to positively impact our world?

Last night I had the fortune of hanging out with Doug and Mel. They are friends; they are from Muncie, they like to visit and tour our hood. Last night we did a pub crawl hitting five different bars, eating appetizers, and tasking various cocktails.

As we were walking to our next bar, we started talking about our current political climate. We all agreed, the economic policies have been good for us, but we all agreed our President is an Ass (sorry Mom). I don’t think getting our economy moving forward and being an ass are dependent on each other. So, I would like to send a message to our leader, the man in charge, could you stop being an ass?

Could you stop getting so butt hurt when someone calls you out? Can you accept some personal responsibility when you make a mistake and can you stop attacking anyone or everyone that disagrees with you?

The fact that you are President is one of the greatest mysteries of our time.   The past election was like the Joker vs. the Penguin, and the Penguin won. We had to pick between two scoundrels, and you won. Congratulations, now do your job, stop being a dick.

Mr. President, if you read my first few paragraphs, I think you might want to rethink your strategy of leadership. You can lead and be kind at the same time. Let the press do their job; we are smart enough to know when they are biased. If you genuinely believe we need a wall, please make your fence. But treat our immigrants with compassion.  Not all immigrants are evil, angry, evil people; we need them to help improve our society.

Mr. President, what is your purpose? What is your legacy? In your mind, you are the greatest ever, but the majority of the country does not support your rhetoric. Dial it back; you are running at eleven, why not run at five or six, work with Congress.

Your management of the economy is working, your administration of our search for civil discourse is failing. You are part of the problem, not part of the solution. If you want to make our country great, stop being such an ass and start extending your hand to those that question your leadership.

The world is watching; you need to stop being a bully and embrace your enemies. They are not wrong, they have a different opinion and at times those opinions “trump” your opinion, but you are too bull headed to contemplate they might be right.

My message today is about seeking your real purpose. I’m directing my message to my readers, my friends, and yes, the President of the United States of America. We can all improve who we are, what we do, and how we interact with others.

Instead of operating from a position of anger and hostility, work from a place of love and kindness. If we can turn this corner, our world will be almost perfect.

As we always say, it’s so much easier to just be nice (which can sometimes require us to keep our mouth shut). Great post again my friend. Thanks for all of fun last night! Good friends are good for the soul!
