Search And Rescue/Sheriff Ayub
Having to state the unfortunate obvious due to COVID, Cal OES Law Enforcement has “spun up” again with our quarterly meetings as it pertains to the best practices of Search and Rescue. Now that restrictions (at this time) have been lifted in California, more people are out and about enjoying all that California has to offer and with that, comes the usual mishaps, from lost hikers to injuries due to falls and medical issues. We started our first meeting in Ventura County and wish to thank Sheriff Bill Ayub for hosting us, as we again gather our dedicated Law Enforcement and Volunteers with updates and best practices in “Preparing and Protecting California” and Citizens.
