1- Hottest Search News of the week
Since last week, loads of exciting things have happened in the word of Search, involving AI and a big fight in between Google and Microsoft to catch up Open AI on the AI race!.
Exciting for everyone, especially for the whole SEO community.
1- Google Search launches Bard, It's ChatGPT Feature, To Trusted Testers (SEOs Concerned).
It's a new experimental conversational AI service powered by LAMDA – they've called it 'Bard'.
If you work in SEO, you're about to see some new features roll out very soon in Search. More info here.
And in the same week, Microsoft launches the new bing with Chatbot built in.
Find out more about it here.
The AI battle is now in between: Google, OpenAI and Microsoft.
What are your thoughts?
Is your website on Wix?
Google has just integrated analytics search console reports on Wix.
Which means they are improving things and you are getting more useful data to analyse and make decisions to improve your SEO.
Check the article by Mordy Oberstein here.
A Google Post on how AI generated content fits into their approach to helpful content.

2- Top SEO tip
This week tip is related to Indexability and crawlability.
One of the biggest problems I come across in many websites, especially the ones who never invested in SEO, is that some main pages haven’t been indexed by Search Engines (Google).
Which means, those pages are not ranking, so you are never gonna get traffic through those pages.
Remember that first, the bots crawl pages of your site, and then index them or not, depending on many factors.
But how do you check whether your pages are index or no index, and any indexability issues?.
You should Go to Google Search Console panel.
Go to Indexing/ Pages (see image below)
And you can check what are the pages/url’s of your site that are indexed.
Other way to check it without using Google Search Console is by using the site operator.
Which is not 100% accurate, following advice from Mark Williams-Cook.
Bear in mind that it will show you most of the page that are indexed, but it might also show some no-index ones, so take the information with a pinch of salt!
How to use the site operator?
Basically type site: https://www.yoursite.com or site:yoursite.com
Find more info here.
3- Top PPC Tip
This week PPC tip is on improving and optimising your targeting.
Check your reports to identify demographics with better performance and optimise for.
Location, age, interests, etc
4- Top Search articles + tweets
A very interesting article here, covering the story of pagerank by Patrick Stox
New with Google multisearch, Google Maps, and more previews of Bard
How to find additional content ideas using Google Search Console by Andy Chadwick.
SEO content strategy here by Sara Taher
I’m also sharing a tweet about the gender gap in SEO publishing articles by Lidia Infante
Which is really shocking.
So let’s please all support SEO women and give them more chances to participate and share their knowledge with others.
Here is the whole threat.
5- Powerful and useful Search Tools
I’d share a tool to discover trends which you can use alongside Google Trends.
Which is Glimpse
And you can use the Google Chrome Extension and link it with Google Trends.
Give it a go and let me know your thoughts!

7- Not everything is about SEO
This week’s NON seo advice is about Google Analytics 4 again.
Google Analytics 4 deadline is approaching and Google is sending messages to everyone saying they will offer support and help with the migration of your data from GA universal to GA 4, but I’d be very careful with that.
Here is a checklist to migrate to GA 4.
8- Where to learn SEO & PPC ?
This week I’m sharing a few good resources:
The SEO freelancer podcast run by Nick LeRoy, who interview Areej A. Abuali
