The search is On.

The search is on.

Today needs to be better than #yesterday and #tomorrow needs to be better than #today. Is anything wrong with this #thought? Actually, yes! Because as humans we are looking for something way beyond just a #better tomorrow. And that is why the #search never ends. #Growth has become a step-wise process. And getting it in installments is how we compromise and accept being temporarily #happy. We also criticize #desire. As if it’s a bad thing and needs to be curbed.

What is required is to look at all this beyond just the #thought of it. Our thoughts which are made up of the #memories from the #past keep pushing us to try and replicate what we already #know and hence don’t allow us to reach for what we are actually looking for. That is why it’s a moving target and is always a step ahead, or is the next thing that we are in #search of. Sitting down and thinking hard (without #choice/ #memory) till we find what we really, permanently need, is scary. Not just due to the #fear of it's being something unachievable but also the fact that it may not be anything close to what we are actually #chasing. The #fear that, what-if all that we’re doing is absolutely wrong?

If we pause and look, we all know that all the answers are #within us. This whole edifice built around ourselves called #purpose, #goals, #targets are a #mirage that helps to stay away from the real search and in chase mode.

“Tomorrow is another day”. Why not put it away till then? “Enjoy the journey!” and don’t dig into the real destination. As that may already be within you and "Calling off the search"........ is scary.
