?? Networking on live events curtailed

Sick of being spammed at live events? LinkedIn is putting a stop to this by no longer allowing us to connect with 2nd-degree connections directly from the event unless they have an Open Profile. I'm not sure yet if this will apply to audio events as well, but I hope it does!

?? Return of connection level on comments

When post-comment threads were redesigned recently, the connection level was removed. You couldn’t tell whether a commenter was a connection or not. I'm not sure why LinkedIn thought this was a good idea. I like to see the level of connection of someone commenting. LinkedIn has brought it back. (For some people.)

?? Quote from the article as a new post

Select a piece of content from an article to turn into a post. I'm also saying to repurpose your content well this makes it a no-brainer! Left unchanged, the post begins with the quote as text and adds a link to the article below with a good-sized link preview image.

You can now search all your old chats!

While it's not perfect, it is a move in the right direction to provide a search function.

The new search function is an "internal search" of your messages, threads and Canvas projects rather than the much anticipated "SearchGPT". A new magnifying glass icon at the top of the sidebar will open a search box and from there you can see your history, start a new chat or search for a specific chat you've previously created.

?? Google’s ‘Jarvis’ browser assistant is coming

Google is reportedly?developing an AI agent codenamed ‘Project Jarvis’ ?that can control web browsers to complete everyday tasks for users, and a possible preview could come as early as December, according to The Information.

?? CLAUDE updates

Claude can now process data, conduct analysis, and produce real-time insights.?The ability to process information and run code means you get more accurate answers—building on?Claude 3.5 Sonnet’s ?state-of-the-art coding and data skills.?

The upgraded Claude 3.5 Sonnet is now available for all users. Starting today, developers can build with the computer use beta on the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Cloud’s Vertex AI. The new Claude 3.5 Haiku will be released later this month.

Here's how to try it out:

1. Go to HeyGen and navigate to "Labs" in the left sidebar.

2. Select "Interactive Avatar" and choose "Sofia - Business Coach" from the templates.

3. Click on Sophia's avatar and select "Start new chat" (or "Connect to Zoom" for team sessions).

4. Enable your microphone/camera and begin your AI coaching session.
