Sean O'Laughlin promoted to COO.

ID Logistics, an international leader in contract logistics, has promoted their current SVP of Operations to lead the entire US operations team. Effective April 1, 2024, Sean O'Laughlin is Chief Operating Officer (COO). O’Laughlin will report to ID Logistics US CEO, Stan Schrader.

O’Laughlin came to ID Logistics in 2023. He is an accomplished leader, an innate problem-solver, and a change agent. His logistics career is filled with accomplishments in championing operational excellence among cross-functional, high-producing teams. O’Laughlin’s skills magnify enterprise value to align business visions with operational realities. Additionally, O’Laughlin possesses an unwavering commitment to customer care. That focus has been on display as O’Laughlin’s team most recently managed an aggressive timetable to deliver a seamless, dynamic start-up for a major e-commerce retailer.

As COO, he will direct day-to-day operations and be responsible for overall service level and financial performance across a US network spanning 40+ facilities covering over 14.5 million square feet.

Prior to ID Logistics, O’Laughlin held senior leadership positions in both corporate and third-party logistics. Most recently, as Senior Vice President for TBC Corporation, he optimized transportation and distribution activities facilitating $6B in sales with a $600M operating budget. Before that, as Vice President at XPO Logistics, he spearheaded a logistics region with over 1,200 employees within warehousing, production, and transportation.

O’Laughlin received his MBA from Western Governors University and an Executive Leadership Certificate from the Wharton School of Business in Pennsylvania.
