FT-TEC with the SEAANGEL AIS SA15 Surf would have protect the person and the SEARCH & RESCUE mission would not have taken more than 30 hours. SEAANGEL AIS MOB / SART systems transmit the emergency signal more than 10 NM, depending on the height of the receiving antena. Example: If the receiving height is around 200m (helicopter in search mission) the signal would be reached at around 25-35NM.
