Days of Knowledge, a major training event for US-based Business Central developers and consultants, is coming up.
Directions for Partners will hold Days of Knowledge Americas 2024 on September 12-14 in Atlanta. Days of Knowledge is an annual event focused on training developers and consultants on new developments in the technical space and in their careers, helping them grow into more senior developers or consultants. Directions EMEA tries to keep the event cheap and to hold it on Friday and Saturday to minimize time away from billable work, according to Directions for Partners community manager Torben Kragelund.
You can watch Partnertalks' interview with Torben Kragelund below.
“Five or six years ago, many of the bigger Danish Partners realized that they needed to do more to invest in their delivery people, the developers and consultants,” Torben says. At the time, a lot was changing on the platform. They needed to find a way to ensure that their developers and consultants were updated and had the knowledge they needed to deliver. So, those Partners started working with Directions, and Days of Knowledge was born.
Business Central developers tend to be fairly isolated. They’re often working either alone or with a small team, which doesn’t afford them the opportunity to join a development community where they can learn and interact with subject matter experts. Days of Knowledge aims to build that opportunity. The experts that Directions for Partners are bringing to 2024's Days of Knowledge include Microsoft's Freddy Kristiansen, Kennie Nybo Pontoppidan and Tony Qian, along with many MVPs and industry professionals.
