SDP-1 Review-1-Field Study

We are a team of 2 students. We have a task of gaining knowledge on the Business System - Health and life insurance Systems. All of our User Research work is shown in this article.

We went through a lot of steps in getting to know what is Health and life insurance Systems, and in this process we acquired a lot of knowledge, and a better understanding of our goal.

We gathered all the requirements from the customer to build a web application "InsuranceBazaar", which is an Automatic Online Health Insurance Application. We surveyed potential users of this application, interviewed them. Through this we gained the User requirements for the application.

By using this form which is made using?Google Forms?we gained an understanding of different categories of policies people are taking policies during Insurance Process and their opinions on InsuranceBazaar app.

Insights Gained:-

• "InsuranceBazaar" is a web application generally, It consists of all the policies and information regarding among all the policies.
• People need to meet many officials and meet physically at the office to get to know about their policies and this process need be simplified by this web.
• People need to be able to check their policies at any time and they will know about their expiring of the policies and all the information regarding their policies.

"Insurance policies are used to?hedge?against the risk of financial losses, both big and small, that may result from damage to the insured or their property, or from liability for damage or injury caused to a third party."

"Even my-self as an agent I know the important of the policies and I am paying that some of the policies. It is really helpful, So I suggest you that pay the policies it will help not only you and also your own family"

"Life insurance is mainly protecting your family/beneficiary/nominee financially in the eventuality of the insured's demise. Health insurance is the protection cover for self as well as the family, in order to avoid any unfortunate eventuality such as loss of life due to financial constraints."

"Life Insurance Company offers best remuneration systems which takes care of your current earnings and also guarantees an earning for the future. By becoming LIC agent, you can set your own income targets with a potential to earn as much as you want for the rest of your life."

-It's a powerful force for connecting and doing good in the world, and it can be equally impactful when applied to the insurance claims process.?Every claim represents an opportunity for insurers to demonstrate they are listening and care about their customers. Remember, the policyholder has just suffered a loss.

                  What do they needed to do?
 
-The policy-holder must take a policy at some specific span of time.And it
?improves customer satisfaction. People buy insurance for peace of mind, and there are steps insurers can take to help further ease customers' minds during this difficult time. It starts with?being a good listener, especially during the claims process.

                   What do they see?

-A policyholder is the person who owns the?insurance policy. So, if you buy an insurance policy under your own name, you’re the policyholder, and you’re protected by all of the details inside.

                  what do they think and feel?

-Interestingly, nearly two-thirds of respondents said they think their policies will help to cover not only their final expenses, but also their debts and living expenses, as well as day-to-day costs including education for their children, healthcare, and retirement savings, the report said.        

.Empathy Map is used just like a User Persona but provides us with better insights on the User's Actions.

We used the ways and methods of Design Thinking to find an effective, customer-centric solution for the problems will arise in our Project. It helped us view the Scenario from several point of views and move in an empathetic way.
