SD OPTICS is the only company in the world to have its own optical solution based on Micro Mirror Array Lens System, a high-speed, MEMS-based variable LENS technology.
This Micro Mirror Array Lens System is named MALS and is a unique brand of our lens technology.
The focus change in MALS is not achieved by conventional actuators but by shape variations based on multiple semiconductor mirrors.
LENS, typically used in optics, is made of plastic or glass by default, and in these optical systems the focus changes require the LENS + actuator. Traditional optical systems have many physical limitations to driving speed (less than 100 Hz) and service life because they move a bundle of lenses to adjust the relative distance to the image sensor.
However, MALS, developed by SD OPTICS, is a reflective type lens with a Focus variable function, with variable speed and life cycle performance hundreds or thousands of times higher than conventional methods.

Due to the difficulty of detecting existing equipment, it is also used in areas where personnel are injected after inspection with the equipment.
Alternatively, it can be easily used in all the areas with depth issues.
The higher the magnification of the objective lens, the stronger the Stefied the object being inspected, the more powerful it will perform.
In the VISION INSPECTION field, by default, when the size of a foreign object detection is determined, the magnification of the objective lens is determined, which decreases the depth of the objective lens of the general optics as the magnification increases.
