SD Biosensor donates 10,000 corona test kits to the Philippines

SD Biosensor, a Korean company, has announced that it will donate 10,000 coronavirus(Covid-19) test kits worth $100,00to the Philippines.

This was disclosed to the Philippine news agency by Director Sang-hoon Jeong of Korea Trade (KOTRA), which is in chargeof promoting trade and investment between the Philippines and Korea.

Test kit to KOTRA donate on the basis of a letter to Francisco Duque ll Health Minister on 1 July 2020 Standard Q Corona 19combo(Standard Q Covid-19 Combo) and standard Q Corona 19 Ag ( Standard Q Covid-19 Ag).

The official said delivery of the test kits would take place within this month as donations are accepted by the PhilippineDepartment of Health (DOH).

SD Biosensor is one of Korea's leading healthcare companies using advanced and innovative technologies.

Korea has been expanding humanitarian aid to the Philippines over the past 70 years as a token of ts gratitude for sendingtroops to the Philippines during the Korean War in the 1950s.

Since February of this year, South Korea has provided more than $5 milion ($250 millon) in humanitarian aid to thePhilippines to help fight the deadly Covid-19.
