The ScyllaDB Sync: December 2024

Welcome to the December edition of the ScyllaDB Sync. At ScyllaDB, we like to read/write books as well as data. This past month, we've featured two recent books quite prominently across our blogs and events:

  • ScyllaDB in Action: Curious about ScyllaDB? This practical guide by Bo Ingram (Staff Engineer at Discord) helps you get started through fun hands-on examples.
  • Database Performance at Scale: Discover new ways to optimize database performance – and avoid common pitfalls. This book is based on learnings from thousands of real-world use cases.

We've also opened registration for Monster SCALE Summit, which is like P99 CONF with a focus on extreme-scale engineering and data-intensive applications. Take a look at the first wave of speakers we've revealed, and stay tuned for some huge announcements!
