Scrumlandia: Knights vs. The Real Dragon (Endless Meetings)

In the kingdom of Scrumlandia, King Agile decreed that knights must use Agile methodology. Sir Sprintalot led the way, promising efficiency. The knights, however, were skeptical.

In their first stand-up, Sir Gawain said, "Yesterday, I sharpened my sword. Today, I polish my armor." Sir Lancelot sighed, "We used to just slay dragons, not discuss it every morning."

Quests were broken into user stories and sprints. "Locate the dragon" took Sprint 1, "Plan attack" was Sprint 2, and "Engage the dragon" was Sprint 3. During the battle, Sir Lancelot shouted, "Remember the burndown chart!" Sir Gawain, dodging dragon fire, replied, "The only thing burning is me!"

After the quest, in the retrospective, Sir Bors noted, "We spent more time planning tasks than sharpening swords or chaining the dragon." The knights agreed: the real dragon was the endless meetings. Meanwhile, the dragon escaped.
