Can you tell me the difference between teaching and coaching? Can you enable a team to be truly awesome, delivering shippable value every sprint? Can you create the skills in a team to deliver 1 week sprints? Do you have deep knowledge of Scrum as well as deep understanding of the values and principles of Agile? Do you understand Lean Product Development, Systems Thinking and Design Thinking, and can you articulate these skills to your peers? You also understand situational awareness and teaming concepts, and can tell us what each aspect of the Scrum framework is inspecting and adapting.
You are not married to SAFe, or any other scaling framework, and truly understand what Inspect and Adapt means, and how to define and spot patterns and behaviors, and be able to craft innovative new ways to create success in an organization. You seek that creative outlet to truly experiment and succeed through true PDCA or empirical approaches. There is no one size fits all and you know and understand that, and can intuitively solve problems on the fly through deep experience gained in the field.
Do you want you want to come and join my growing team of amazing talent and vision for agility at truly large scale on the bleeding edge of Scrum, then you need to reach out to our amazing team of recruiters at Toyota Connected. Holli, Jake or Britney
I am seeking the best talent in the DFW area and I would love to meet you. You should have at least 2 years in a Scrum Master role and be able to expertly tell that story.

6 年I love that this article leads off with the Scrum Values. I have found it so helpful to understand how those values are the foundation for building trust within the team. Embracing these values helps us engage in positive conflict and continual improvement on the team.

6 年Nigel, I love that your synopsis is outcomes based versus specifying a spefic role such as Scrum Master. I am not in the DFW area but this arena fuels my passion. I'm currently working at a large healthcare IT organization whose strategy is to transform the delivery of healthcare. Unfortunately they have not transformed the underlying innovation model. As an agilist, my mission has been to lead by example and extend my reach by developing the agile knowledge and skill of those around me. This is being executed in three phases: 1. As a sub-organizational Agile coach, establish operational excellence through a modification of culture, processes and key organizational roles. 2. Establish a Center of Innovation with a small team consisting of business, architect, development, UX and data analytics representatives. 3. Extend the model by build partnerships with leaders of other sub-organizations. Phase 1 is closing in on acheiving ROI. Phase 2 and 3 are underway. I've never been so excited to get up and go to work as I have been this past year. I will contact one of your recruiters to see if I there is an opportunity to add value to your organization. Thank you
