In the new MG4 Electric, you can customize and arrange two steering wheel buttons to your liking, choosing from drive modes, AC features, 360° camera, or energy settings—whichever aligns best with your muscle memory. This approach highlights a valuable lesson for HMI designers: while some elements are fixed, offering flexibility in other aspects is crucial for enhancing user experience.?

OTAs

?OTAs are an important topic in the HMI industry. At Screens, we are not only benchmarking and adding vehicles to our database but also seeking updates that benefit you and your users. Here are some new OTAs now available:

New features in Denza N7:?

? National high-speed navigation function.

  • Intelligent real-time decision-making based on road conditions, including active overtaking, automatic on and off ramps, easy cornering, and safe obstacle avoidance, providing a smoother and more human-like driving experience.

? Sentry mode

  • Automatically turn on the video recording function after leaving the vehicle.

? The red light countdown function

  • Enables users to drive more efficiently and know when the red light is counting down—when to start.


?New features in Rising Auto R7:

? Soothing drive mode in drive modes

  • In this mode, exclusive power response and kinetic energy recovery provide a smoother, and more relaxing ride. Simply say, “Hi Feifan, switch to soothing driving,” to activate.


New features in Xiaomi SU7:

? Add navigation on autopilot, open ten cities

  • Users meeting intelligent driving safety mileage requirements can now use this feature on major roads in the core areas of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Chengdu, Xi'an, Nanjing, and Suzhou.

New features in Li Xiang L9:

? Parking offset memory strategy

  • Automatically remember the offset setting of the last parking when you park in a common parking space or valet parking target space.

? Mobile phone app shutdown and parking reminder function

  • After activating the shutter parking function, users can suspend parking via the Li Auto APP by clicking the notification or the card on the car control page. It also supports parking success/failure reminders and requires upgrading the Li Auto APP to version 7.12.0 or above.
