Wind farms in Scotland produced enough electricity in the first six months of 2019 to power almost double the homes in the country.
Output between January and June was 9.8m megawatt-hours, according to data from Weather Energy, or enough to power 4.5m homes.
These figures show March was the best month for wind power output, generating 2.2m megawatt-hours.
