If I’m selling your home, sure, I’m always going to chase down every lead and leave no stone unturned, to make sure we get you the best closing price possible.

And if I’m helping you buy your home, sure, I’m going to make sure I am closing the Realtor on the other side of the sale, to get you the best deal.

Let me tell you a quick story about a client who I’m excited to say, got her home under contract today. 

.

I’ve known her for years and helped her buy her current home, that just went under contract.

.

Roughly 3 years ago, she asked me “??????????, ??????? ???? ?????? ????????? ?????????? ???? ?????????????? ???? ????????? ?????? ???????????????????? ?? ????????????. ??’?? ?????? ???????? ??????? ?? ???????? ??????? ??????? ????????? ??????????????.”

At that time the market was good and I told her I thought it was a good idea, but the decision was up to her.

I told her, “????? ??????’?? ???? ??????? ???? ?????????????????? ?????????????? ???????? ???? ???????? ???????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ?????? ??????? ?????? ?????? ??????????, ???? ???????? ??????? ???????? ??????? ???? ?????? ??????????? ?????? ??????????, ???????????? ?????????????? ???????? ????????? ???? ????? ????????????.”

She agreed I should have the house measured and at that time, decided she wasn’t quite ready to sell. 

.

Occasionally over the next three years, she would text me with houses she’d seen on Zillow or Realtor.com that she liked and we even visited some of them.

.

And each time, we saw a house she liked, I gently reminded her that we needed to sell her house, before she could buy one of these new homes she liked.

.

This went on for three years, until a couple of months ago. 

.

She started texting me with a new vigor for looking for a new house and putting her current house on the market.

.

I did everything I could to help her get her house prepped to hit the market. 

.

And for a few weeks straight, I’d check in with her, to see if she was ready for photos/video, and we’d end up pushing photos/video out a week, because she wasn’t quite ready.

.

Then the day came when she was ready for photos/video and we got them. Shortly after, we put the house on the market.

.

And today, we got her house under contract. …after 3 years! 

.

(No, the house wasn’t on the market for 3 years. It was actually on the market for a short period of time.)

.

Yeah, I could have told her three years ago to put her house on the market right away and “closed.” But that’s not me. 

.
