SCOPE SETTING
SCALE has many definitions and can be used to convey SCOPE SETTING – scaling up or scaling down.
If you do not have the resources to implement your plans you may need to scale down your plan. If you are seeking growth you want to scale up your plans.
Optimal SCOPE SETTING may actually do both – if you can figure out how to scale down your resource use while scaling up your output you achieve growth most efficiently. It is amazing how often we can rethink our assumptions and find ways to do both. Can someone else do it or contribute? Finding new ways to work together can facilitate SCOPE SETTING, and SCOPE SETTING can stimulate finding new ways to work together. Changing the goal posts can drive creativity.
