Be scientific, make your content effective, responsive and digitize

1.    Make correct and logical sequence of business information

The information that you want to share with your client/audience shall point and carry them in the right direction. 

You should create a Strong Visual Hierarchy that will lead learners’ eyes from the first thing they should see to the next in the proper order. 

Your contents should be covered into important and understandable points.

Your points have the focal point that focus over the business objective. Without a focus point, the target audience’s attention gets scattered easily as the eyes move all over the screen without resting on anything particular. 

Use large, rich, and eye-catching fonts to make headings, sub-headings, and critical pieces of information stand out.

Fonts: Colour, fonts, contrast, imagery, and shapes (and more) all factor into the effectiveness (or lack thereof) to make them good and effective.

Make your font easy on the eyes. Do not make too elaborate or designed.

Don’t abbreviate your words unnecessarily or space them out too much.

Style your headlines and subheadings the same throughout the content to give a sense of unity and visual cues.

Use bullet points to provide the specific and clear information

Make Clear Sections. Sections can be created with boxes and frames, headings, colours or anything else that clearly defines what goes with what. 

Use Images and graphics: Images and graphics should be oriented in a way that directs the reader's attention inward and onward, never away from the screen or your content.

Make it Easy to Read: Target group are here to read through the content and compare for better things. So don’t make them so technical or strive hard.

Put related information and elements closer to help target audience see them as connected and so they don’t have to waste any additional energy trying to pull them together in their mind.

2.    Highlight What’s Important 

To focus over or special attention of the target audience you can use techniques to make it stand out. It can be done through the shape, size, typography and a variety of other elements. Don’t highlighting excessively, make it appropriately and logically

3.    Use Images that Convey Emotions/Messages

Speaking to your target group’s critical thoughts will help them tune in and help them relate the information they have on screen.

4.    Use Shapes and Icons to Increase Scan ability of content 

It is not possible for us every time to stand next to the target audience and point at stuff, the next best thing is to use shapes and icons to point out info.

5.    Importance of colour

Colour selection should be perfect and it makes your digital content nice and attractive. You should use a harmonious colour palette that works to enhance your information, not distract from it.

But, by and large, you also need to consider the psychological factors involved with colour. The intuitive or implied means of the colour psychology shall be taken into consideration before we select a colour for a heading or highlighting a text into colours.

Colours connect the emotions and culture along with being tied to certain seasons, holidays, weather, etc.

Colour speaks:

Age plays a role in our colour preferences, and older people tend to like darker colours like purple, green and blue while youngsters like yellow, red and orange. Those cooler colours are considered mellower and appeal to us as we age versus the brighter colours which are more stimulating or exciting.

Overall, you have to think the factors relating to your business, the target audience taste, demography, culture into account to determine the appropriateness of colour, themes, designs.

Definitely, digitizing the content impact more and effectively as it has a larger reach among the target group. Digitize your business to make it reachable with in the target group where you cannot reach.
