Do you have dreams and goals that you would like to achieve? If so, a vision board may be a helpful tool for you. A vision board is usually a collage of images representing your goals and dreams. It can include cut-out pictures from magazines and words that help inspire you to manifest your dreams and get where you want to go. Although vision boarding is a commonly used tool, there is not a lot of research on its effectiveness. Initial research suggests it can help us more efficiently reach our goals. This may be because vision boards help us gain self-awareness and self-reflect on what is important to us.
Vision boards may also help us imagine what a positive future could look like for us. Imagining a positive future is a helpful way to increase positive emotions and optimism. And positive emotions often create opportunities. So, creating a vision board may be good if you’re looking for a tool to help you manifest your dreams and goals. Try it out and see what works for you!
If you want something to happen, the best thing you can do is act like it's already happened. That may sound counterintuitive, but there's science to back it up.
In a recent article, Psychology Today explored the idea that "if you act as if something has already happened, your brain will start to respond accordingly and make it a reality." This is based on the principle of neuroplasticity, which essentially means that our brains are constantly changing and adapting in response to our experiences.
So, if we act as if something has already happened, our brains will start to believe it too. This can be a powerful tool for manifesting our desires and making them a reality.
One study that surveyed more than 1100 people and 500 entrepreneurs found that 82% of participants who used a vision board had accomplished more than half of the goals depicted on their board at the time of the survey. This research demonstrates the power of imagery and how people who visualize themselves achieving their goals have more confidence in their ability to be successful than those who don’t.
The entrepreneurs in the study noted the importance of having a vision and then following it to start their own business. In fact, 76% of the business owners reported that their success was due in part to their clear vision for their company.

A vision board is a powerful tool to help you achieve your goals. Creating a vision board helps you clarify your goals and what you want to achieve. It also allows you to see your goals visually, which can help increase your motivation and confidence in your ability to achieve them. If you’re looking for a way to get started on your vision board, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First, choose images that inspire you and represent your goals. You can find these images online or in magazines. Once you have a collection of inspiring photos, take some time to arrange them in a way that makes sense to you. There is no right or wrong way to do this. Next, consider adding words or phrases to your vision board that represents how you want to feel when you achieve your goal. These could be aspirational words like “joy,” “peace,” or “abundance.” Or they could be affirmations such as “I am worthy of success” or “I am capable of anything I set my mind to.” By taking the time to create a vision board, you are taking an important step
Creating a vision board is a fun and exciting way to get motivated and inspired about your goals. But unless you take daily action steps to achieve those goals, your vision board will be nothing more than a pretty piece of paper.
The ability to persevere through difficult times is the key to making your vision board goals a reality. So ask yourself: what can I do today to move closer to my goal? And then take action!
You may not see results overnight, but if you keep taking those daily steps, eventually you will reach your destination. So don't give up – keep moving forward, one day at a time.
