I am looking for a Science Teacher for a lovely Alternative Provision who also happen to be one of my favourite clients. This oasis of calm offers children a second chance to make academic progress whilst working in a value led environment which offers both inspirational support and opportunity for children who would otherwise be left behind. There is sense of purpose at this school and it is easy to see how really good progress is made, a love of learning established and some great GCSE results achieved.
? Supply role for up to a year to cover Maternity leave
? The opportunity is for a Science Teacher QTS or QTLS
? Able to work with children and young adults with barriers to learning
? An inspiring classroom practitioner who can demonstrate some real creativity in lessons
? Happy to work in small groups (10 as an absolute maximum)
? Looking for work/life balance – Early finish times and half day on a Friday
? Aspirational role model
? Genuine desire to get involved across whole of school
? Happy to work with pupils getting them ready for the work place or further education
? Someone who is not afraid to challenge boundaries and enable children to make progress
? Must be able to plan lessons that differentiate for pupils of all abilities
? Confidently deliver lessons with some creative impact
? Able to mark in a way that encourages progress with pupils of all abilities
