Research, education, applications. We create knowledge to change the world.
Between 3rd and 5th June, the Institute’s representatives participated in the congress "Nauka dla Spo?eczeństwa" (Science for Society) organized at the Warsaw University of Technology. Among many important and fascinating research that takes place in the IChF, we were asked to present three examples that already have a measurable social impact. We selected microfludics as a basis for Scope Fludics, Sersitive – our commercial initiative for creating cutting-edge SERS substrates, and pheromone traps made by Chemipan that have been helping to protect forests in Poland and Europe for nearly 40 years. Moreover, prof. Maciej Wojtkowski gave a talk on new technologies helping with curing eye diseases. His presentation was recorded and is available online (in PL only).
