The Science of Money

The Science of Money

Let’s talk about truth. The truth about money, business, and the messy, beautiful work of making an impact.

Every year, like clockwork, I see it happen—clients come to me at the end of the year in a panic. They’ve ignored their numbers for months, maybe all year. They don’t trust what’s in front of them, relying instead on gut feelings that something isn’t right. They’ve either handed off financial responsibility without oversight or buried their heads in the sand entirely.

This disconnect impacts everything—profitability, decision-making, and even their confidence as business owners. And here’s the thing: avoiding the truth doesn’t change it. But when we face it? That’s when transformation begins.

The Science Behind Prosperity

So, where do you start when you’re looking for the truth behind the mess? Data. Data—not wrapped in judgment or shame, but pure, unfiltered truth—is the foundation. We ask the hard questions and celebrate the fact that you’re here. Because no matter how messy the past was, you made it. You did the best you could with what you had.

Now, it’s time to level up.

The past? It wasn’t good enough for where you’re going. The truth is that the past is NOT your identity, so don’t cling to it. Instead, let’s use it as a compass. Leaving behind the past allows you to focus on the goals of where you’re headed. Together, we can reverse-engineer what needs to happen to reach your goals.

Goals with Purpose

As you look to the new year and focus on your goals, ask yourself; What will create the biggest impact in your life or business?

I take inspiration from Gary Keller’s The One Thing. He suggests framing the question this way: What’s the one thing I can do right now that will make everything else easier or unnecessary? That’s where the magic begins.

  • What’s your one thing for the year?
  • This quarter?
  • This month?
  • Today?

Focus is everything. When we focus on purposeful actions, the overwhelm starts to fade. When you have clarity about where you’re headed, you’ll know the exact steps to take to get there.

Strength Over Weakness

Defining your goals is the first of the process, but I also recommend that you take the time to be smart about those goals.?

Leadership expert John Maxwell hit the nail on the head when he said, “Stop trying to fix your weaknesses.” If marketing is your weakness, you might move from a 4 to a 6 with tons of effort—but a 6 is still average. Instead, take your strengths and amplify them. Turn your 8 into a 10. That’s where real impact happens. My job? To help you reach that 10.

Building Your Own Economy

You might be wondering, if NOW is the right time to implement changes or a new plan? With everything going on in the world? So let’s shift gears for a sec and talk about it. The uncertainty out there about where the economy is currently and where it might be headed has people scared—and I get it. But waiting around for someone else to fix it? That’s not the move. We need to build our own economies. By creating individual wealth and prosperity, we take back control. We don’t have to be at the whims of a system or leader who doesn’t serve us.

It starts with focusing on what we can control—our businesses, our decisions, and our growth. This isn’t about spiritual bypassing or pretending everything’s fine. It’s about acknowledging the challenges and consciously choosing to take action anyway.

What’s Next?

So, let me ask you: What’s your “one thing” for this year? What’s the strength you can take from an 8 to a 10 now so that you can see results happen in the near future??

What will create the biggest impact in your life or business?

Imagine focusing on that one strength, amplifying it so profoundly that it shifts everything else around you. Maybe it’s your leadership skills, your ability to build relationships, or the way you innovate and solve problems. Whatever it is, this is your chance to lean into what you’re already great at and turn it into a superpower.

And you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help you identify that strength, refine it, and strategically amplify it. Together, we’ll craft a plan that not only strengthens your “one thing” but also ensures it translates into tangible results—whether it’s more profit, time, confidence, or ease.

Let’s make this the year you stop spinning your wheels on weaknesses and start building unstoppable momentum by mastering your strengths. The future you want isn’t far away! Let’s do this!
