School's out for Summer!

What a crazy academic year it has been! Here at #ClarusEducation we would like to congratulate all our candidates and client schools for completing another successful year, in, what can be, a very stressful sector!

Clarus Highlights

The Summer term has been manic for us at Clarus. We have busy helping our client schools ensure they are fully staffed for September, placing some great candidates into a variety of roles, from admin support to senior leaders. We wish all of them a fantastic start in their new positions.

Now that schools have closed, our team are enjoying the holiday hours, but are still busy registering candidates for the upcoming academic year. The past few months have seen many reasons to celebrate here at Clarus. We have celebrated work anniversaries for Samantha Cox and Gemma Parkinson , serving 2 and 1 years respectively. We also congratulated Krystina Cheshire on the successful completion of her probation period. Well done ladies; keep up the good work!

It has also been an exciting time for personal celebrations within the team. In May we celebrated the engagement of Ellen Portsmouth , our Senior Compliance Officer and July saw us throw a mini baby shower for Senior Consultant, Marianne Tapley . Wishing you both every happiness!

We made sure to wrap up the academic year with a lovely meal for the whole team. Lots of fun was had by all!

More congratulation were in order for the fantastic ladies of Team #SwimforCake! We have had the pleasure of supporting the team through their training as part of our #CharityPledge. This month we get to know Lead Resourcer and University Liaison Co-Ordinator,? Samantha Cox

What boroughs do you cover??I resource for the team across London, including boroughs in the West, South and East. In addition, I co-ordinate placement years for undergraduates looking for Teaching Assistant roles. I have also created a resource called the ‘Clarus Classroom’ to support our candidates ahead of trial days and interviews.

Why education recruitment??Coming from an educational background myself (as an ex-Primary teacher of just over 17 years), I’ve always wanted to help where I can – now it’s time to help the adults, rather than the children! I really enjoy hearing about varied experiences in the classroom from our candidates, matching them up to their ideal role, and then finding out they’ve ben successful in getting the job!
