HELP OLIVIA TURN HER AMBITION INTO A REALITY!?
Former King’s High student, Olivia Hamblett (KHS 2012 – 2019) received the shocking diagnosis of an inoperable brain tumour on her 16th birthday.
Now 23, after Proton Beam Therapy and a year of chemotherapy, she lives with this invisible disability, under the ‘watch and wait’ protocol.
Indefatigable and determined to live each day as it comes, Olivia graduated from Birkbeck, University of London, earlier this summer, and is set to take the world of theatre and performing arts by storm with her solo show, Hamblett, which she hopes to premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2024.
Previously a member of Playbox Theatre, Ustinov Theatre School and more recently Soho Theatre’s Stand Up Comedy Lab, Olivia uses her talent for storytelling to explore what it is ‘to be’ in Hamblett, a darkly funny delve into identity and mortality. Her place at the Fringe is confirmed and she has already raised £4,300 of the total £5,259.?
Help us to support Olivia by turning her ambition into a reality and email [email protected] to donate.?
