Into School Programme Relaunch

We are delighted that at Baytree we have relaunched our “Into School Programme” as part of our Youth Service, in response to the needs of the girls who come to our organisation.

The girls who register for this programme are migrants, refugees and newly arrived girls in the UK who are waiting for school spaces and are in need of the right tools to learn about and understand our educational system.

After thoroughly reviewing our Into School Programme, our Youth Coordinators have researched and developed a robust programme adapted to the current needs of our girls which offers support and strengthens their education and integration into the UK system.

The programme will focus on:

• English, including schoolwork and self-study.
• English as an Additional Language conversation (EAL) - with maths, science and digital skills.
• Support with college and/or school applications.
• Extracurricular activities like cooking, workshops, art and sports - in order to enrich their English vocabulary and confidence through educational support.
