In August 2018, we launched a new school in south metro Atlanta—The Forest School: An Acton Academy
The school's mission is that each person who enters our doors will find a calling that will change the world.
According to research, the healthiest, happiest, most joyful people have:
- A sense of meaning or purpose bigger than one's self
- Healthy, positive connection with others
- Healthy, positive connection with themselves (mind, body, spirit)
- Healthy, positive connection with nature
- Experiences of flow states
- Experiences of beauty
Our school is intentionally designed to cultivate human flourishing.
In addition, we are excited to be a part of a growing network of Acton Academy Schools worldwide that are building on the success of the original Acton Academy in Austin, Texas.
