School Administration Perspective on Won-Door Fire & Security Doors

School Administration Perspective on Won-Door Fire & Security Doors

Tooele County School District serves K-12th grade students and is located in Tooele, UT and provide a great example on protecting staff and students with Won-Door Fire and Security doors.

"When you are looking at school security, it is always on an administrator’s mind. You are always thinking, ‘What will we do, if?’.

I was completely sold once I saw them (Won-Doors) actually working. Within ten seconds the doors can be deployed throughout the entire school and the school can become completely segmented if it needs to.

I really feel like my students are much more comfortable with feeling safe and secure then maybe students at a school where they don’t have these doors."

"It keeps you up at night worrying about student safety and when you are responsible for the safety of 17,000 kids, you are going to worry. I’m talking about kids and staff safety. I haven’t seen anything, as I traveled the nation, better than Won-Door and these Fireguard safety security doors."

~ Dr. Scott Rogers, Superintendent of Tooele County

"We went to Won-Door Corporation and saw the examples that they showed us and when they actually put them in the school, my expectations were exceeded, it was even better than I expected. It made it a more relaxed open friendly atmosphere. It wasn’t as much of a school type, clinical setting. It is more inviting. With it being in the walls and out of site, you don’t think about it, which is wonderful for our kids.”

~ Marianne Oborn, Director of Counseling and Social Services
