Scholarship Recipients Attend Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala in New York City

Recipients of the Songwriters' Hall of Fame (SHOF) Scholarship, Lauryn Marie Hedges and Zander Jett, attended the organization's Induction and Awards Gala on June 15 along with Curb College Dean Brittany Schaffer and Songwriting Co-Chair Drew Ramsey.

Hedges and Jett were able to see Jeff Lynne, Teddy Riley, Tim Rice, Liz Rose, Gloria Estefan (SHOF's first Latina inductee) and Glen Ballard get inducted and perform. Also, Post Malone received an award and performed live.

In addition to performing themselves, the inductees were honored with performances of their songs by friends such as Joe Walsh, Siedah Garrett, Myles Frost (Michael Jackson in Broadway production?MJ), Brandon McCall (Simba from current cast of?"The Lion King"), Heather Headley (the original Nala in?"The Lion King"?and the original?"Aida"), Keith Sweat, Doug E. Fresh, Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna, Alan Mencken and Emilio Estefan.?
