The Board of Directors of Schneider Electric has unanimously agreed to name Olivier Blum as CEO in order to expedite the implementation of the company's plan and move on with its next stage of development.
To suggest a replacement for the position of Chief Executive Officer, the Governance, Nominations & Sustainability Committee has carried out a thorough process under the Board of Directors' direction. The Board has selected Olivier Blum to serve as CEO in accordance with this procedure.
French citizen Olivier Blum, 54, is in charge of 施耐德电气 's rapidly expanding and elite Energy Management division, which operates in all end markets, including datacenters. As of 2014, Olivier is a member of the Executive Committee. He served in a variety of capacities within Schneider Electric prior to his current position as the company's chief technology and business officer.This covers a variety of operational positions, such as five years as the Country President of Greater India (now our third-largest country) and five years as a strategy and business leader in China, in addition to corporate positions as Group Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer and former Chief Human Resources Officer.
For nearly ten years, Olivier Blum began his career in France working in sales, marketing, and transformation programs. Having served as an AVEVA board director for the last five years, Olivier has witnessed the most significant changes to our software company.
