It is scary to start something new

Change means taking risks. It means encountering new challenges and difficulties.?It makes us feel anxious.

But what if it's all in your head? What if making changes is the best favor you can do for yourself? See below what I mean ??

Let’s recall the situation when we had made a change and what happened then:

?? You feel stuck in your job. You don’t learn anything new. Every day is the same.?

?? You want to change jobs but you are afraid of losing your stable job where you build a nice reputation. What if you fail a trial period at a new company or you won’t like your boss?

?? You don’t want to take risks. Yet every day at work is torture for you. You become very negative and don’t agree with management decisions. You convince yourself that it is still better than taking risks.?

?? One day when you feel extremely exhausted and fed up and you finally start talking to recruiters. You start to realize there is an entire world full of nice opportunities. It doesn’t look so scary and risky anymore.

?? You shift your focus to getting a better job. Your mood goes up. You are eager to explore that world.?

?? Finally, you get that offer and start a new job. You feel excited and extremely motivated.

?? You learn exciting things, grow fast, and feel confident in your abilities. You already notice how you move up the career ladder and have no doubt you can make it.?

Of course, there might be situations when change didn't turn out to be so positive. However, negative experiences show us what we don't want in our lives. They help us realize what we should avoid.

Changing your situation or starting something new means significant growth and development, opportunities to build new skills and connections, and feeling motivated and excited.?

Do not be afraid of change, be afraid of stagnation and boredom!

So instead of thinking about what you will lose, start thinking about what you will gain if you take that risk!
