Scars...Repair...
Rev. Daniel Bramlett
Minister at Total Spiritual Development Addiction Counselor
I am strong because I know what it's like to be weak, I laugh because I know sadness, I love it because I know what it's like to be alone...
I think that we need to remember that scars on the inside take longer to heal than scars on the outside...They have been cut deeper and burned into our existence...The heart can not heal, what the mind can not forget. I believe that true healing doesn't mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our lives. The only thing in the way of your future is your unhealed past. When you let go of the past, a whole new future opens up to you...starting from now. Today, Please let go of the struggle and allow the healing process of change to begin. We need to rely on God to truly heal...Our heavenly Father is the only one that can walk through our house or look into our souls, take away all our worries, illnesses, and pain. God can with his mighty and merciful hand touch the sick and suffering today and heal what needs. God can bring new life to all those who endure pain and agony in their lives...We just have to ask God in Jesus' name...God is truly our comfort when we need it most...We all at some point doubt if what we do really makes a difference. We wonder at times if we are good enough for someone or something. Know that it is not the mistakes of our past, but the promise of our future, that make the difference in us each day. Your past makes no difference to God. God's grace will always be greater than sin. Calvary has proven it time and again. Whatever you've done, wherever you've been, God's grace is greater than our sin. The choice between Heaven or Hell belongs to each of us...Remember, you may choose your sin, but you cannot choose the consequences. The highway to Hell is easier and faster; and the stairway to Heaven may be harder to climb but I promise you the rewards that God has for those that choose Heaven are greater than anything you can imagine. This journey requires us to be strong and steadfast against the enemies of Heaven...God will furnish the weapons but we must learn and live them well...We can't expect to be part-time Christians and expect God to reward us. We are to live in such a way that those who know us but don't know God will come to know God because they know us...Our actions speak louder than words and are seen by so many...A church is not a clubhouse for saints...It is a" hospital" for sinners. We are called to love everyone and be there for one another...We are not called to sit in judgment of others, With our Father's love and mercy we are forgiven; but we cant do the same for others? None of us deserve to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but Jesus paid the price in full for all of us to have the choice. It's your decision to choose to accept this awesome gift or ignore it. It is way better to go through life believing there is God and die to find out (if) there isn't than live as if there isn't a God and die to find out that there is. Know that if your heart is filled with hate...you are living in your own Hell. It's time; before it's too late to stop worrying about the sins of others and work on your own redemption. Know that when we cover up our sins, God will expose them...It is when we openly confess our sins that God will cover them. I truly believe in miracles...The fact that Jesus "saved a wretch like me" makes me living proof that miracles are real...I'm not there yet but I strive to forget the things of the past and grasp the things that are in front of me now and press on to reach my goals. Phil 3:13...Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life God desires. James 1:19-20...By Rev Daniel Bramlett
