Scanbox Production Strengthens Production Team with Two New Additions

Scanbox Production is proud to announce two new additions to the production company based in Copenhagen;?Producer?Lina Flint?started on February 1, 2024 and producer?Birgitte Skov?joined Scanbox Production on April 1, 2024. Both producers come with experience from the industry from Nordisk Film and SF Studios and bring a number of exciting projects to the company.?

Lone Korslund, Creative Director at Scanbox Production, says about the new hires:? "We are a new team, but we have many years of experience from the industry. Our network with different Nordic creatives enables us to have an exciting and varied line-up of both films and series."?

Lina Flint has been producing for Nordisk Film since 2015 and with her latest film, 'Sons', she has continued her close collaboration from Film School with Gustav M?ller. The film was in the main competition at the Berlin Film Festival 2024 and Lina is also ‘Producer on the Move’ at the Cannes Film Festival this year.

Birgitte Skov has 25 years of production experience from Nimbus Film and SF Studios. Most recently with the feature film 'Margrete: Queen of the North'?by Charlotte Sieling. She brings a couple of exciting feature films with her.

The rest of the team consists of producer Rikke Lassen, who has produced a number of TV series for DR; 'Doggystyle’ and more.

Producer Bylgja Aegisdottir, who produced Dagur Kari's latest feature film success 'Hygge!'?and has a number of Danish and Icelandic projects in development.

Screenwriter Jan Trygve R?yneland, best known for the screenplay for the Norwegian feature film 'The King's Choice'?and has a number of Danish and Norwegian films and series in development.

Creative Director Lone Korslund?has 18 years of experience from Nordisk Film as VP Acquisition & co-productions and has co-produced several Scandinavian feature films and series, such as the Millennium Trilogy, 'Kon-Tiki' and 'A Man Called Ove'.?

CEO of Scanbox, Thor Sigurjonsson has produced feature films and series for over 20 years and has also served as executive producer on both Danish and Icelandic feature films. Thor Sigurjonsson says about the new additions to the production team:?
