Scanbox Entertainment Productions strengthens its position with the employment of one of the top executives in the Nordic film industry

Lone Korslund joins Scanbox Entertainment Productions as Creative Director the 1st of September and will become an important asset in a new strategy to build up the business portfolio to include film- and series-productions under the company name.

Lone Korslund has previously held the position as Vice President for Acquisitions, Co-Productions and Creative Partnerships at Nordisk Film where she has been employed for over 18 years. Lone Korslund has been part of the realization of many significant film and series productions in the Nordics and is one of the leading profiles in the business with an extensive network and documented experience in production, rights, and financing. Lone Korslund has been Executive Producer and Co-Producer on several of the biggest box office successes in the Nordics: ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo’, ‘The Girl Who Played with Fire’, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest’, ‘Kon-Tiki’, ‘A Man Called Ove’, ‘Snabba Cash’, The Way to Mandalay’ and the TV series ‘Beck’.

Scanbox Entertainment is one of the leading distribution companies in the Nordic region dealing with acquisitions and sale of distribution rights and has recently expanded the business with a targeted strategy starting productions inhouse. The company began the execution of this strategy in 2020, and the recruitment of Lone Korslund is a key move to strengthen the company’s ambitious new endeavors.
