Global Scannig Solutions is providing Lunch and Learn sessions to its clients and architect groups in Australia. The purpose fo these sessions is to highlight the potential risks that can arise from a lack of proper understanding related to the BIM requirements and associated deliverables at the end of a project.
During Lunch and Learn sessions we discuss the importance of understanding a project’s scope and its four key attributes;
- Level of completeness;
- Level of detail;
- Level of accuracy;
- Extent of works;
The motto of the event is;
“…begin with the end in mind…”
This clearly means that before we begin any BIM project we need to understand not only what we are doing but why we are doing it! Whilst at the same time taking into consideration all associated risks and scope variations.
At the sessions we also discuss the importance of getting all project information before we enter the site (Project base point and project/True North)
