Hi!
Here are the three most relevant points that I explored during the week and decided to share with you. I hope you find them useful!
In this edition we’ll talk about:
Now, let’s start!
1. Alan Watts - “Being in the Way” Podcast
Recently, I've been tuning in to the "Alan Watts Being in the Way Podcast."
It's a compilation of recordings by Alan Watts, some of which haven't been heard in 40 years.
In just a few episodes, this podcast has significantly accelerated my personal growth exploration and deepened my inquiry into non-duality.
If you're interested, I recommend checking out the episode titled "Zen Bones" and
sharing your thoughts with me.
P.S.: Special thanks to Wayo Longoria, a past guest on the podcast, for the recommendation! ??
2. Quote to Think About
“The more fearful a person?is,?the more he uses his mind.?
The more?fearless a?person?is,?the more he uses his?heart.”
??Teal Swan

3. SCAMMED!
I seldom use Facebook nowadays, but a few days ago, I came across a post that caught my attention. It was in a Facebook group of a highly respected High-Performance community to which I belong.
The post was from a group member offering a laptop of the type I had been searching for for several months, and it was at a fraction of the price!!
The post stated: "I no longer need this laptop because I bought another one. First come, first served. Text me privately, and we'll coordinate details."
And that's what I did!
In less than 5 minutes, I had provided my address and made the payment via Apple Cash.
He mentioned that he would deliver the package first thing in the morning.
The next morning, I received a tracking number and a link to a freight company called "Esteemed Freight Forwarding" (something seemed fishy there ??).
Then he texted again, mentioning that the actual delivery cost was $100 extra due to the weight, and that I needed to add those extra $100.
That's when I revisited the link, researched the website and the (pseudo) employees, and realized it was a FAKE COMPANY. I got SCAMMED!!! ????♂?
I thought that having grown up in LATAM, I knew my way around, and something like that wouldn't happen to me (again).
But, in the words of R. Feynman: “The first principle is not to fool yourself – and you are the easiest person to fool.” ??
Nowadays, it's so simple to create a website with AI and gather a handful of photos of people in suits to pretend it's a legitimate business.
Now, I'm not sharing this story to make you fearful.
Instead, I invite you to be more cautious when purchasing something online. Trust your gut instinct, consult friends, and use your critical thinking (which I clearly didn't use) ?to validate the legitimacy of a person/company before making a purchase.
Learn from my mistakes so that you can avoid them. That's it!
