Scaling Up with NTE: A Strategic Solar Partnership

In one of the largest solar energy transactions in the Nordics, Sunday Power has entered into a strategic partnership with Norwegian energy group NTE . The agreement secures financing for 30 MW of solar power installations, allowing Sunday Power to accelerate its growth.

Under this deal, Sunday Power retains control over customer relations, operation, maintenance, and system management, while NTE acquires Sunday Generation, the company’s subsidiary for solar power production.

NTE sees massive potential in solar energy, aligning with Norway’s goal of 8 TWh from solar power by 2030. According to NTE Group Director Svein Olav Munkeby , “Installing solar panels on commercial rooftops is one of the fastest ways to increase renewable energy production, and Sunday Power’s solution impressed us.”

This partnership allows Sunday Power to keep pace with surging demand, having installed as many solar projects in Q1 2024 as in all of 2023.
