Scaling our impact

I’ve always been really motivated by the commitment our people have to making a positive impact – their absolute focus on helping each other and our wider communities on some of the most important challenges that we face as a society.?

This commitment has only grown over the last 18 months. ?Time and again over the course of the pandemic, our people demonstrated not just how much they cared, but how much they were prepared to act to support their colleagues and communities. ?

The opportunity to capitalise on this was clear. ?The responsibility on us as an organisation was to support and enable our people – to further unlock their potential.?

And so, as part of the overall Deloitte Ireland Impact Fund , we are launching the Deloitte People Fund. ?Through this we are going to help them to do what they do best – use their knowledge and skills to develop solutions and support for some of the biggest challenges we are facing today. ?We are encouraging them to choose the causes that matter most to them and provide them with the funding and time to bring their expertise to bear in developing appropriate solutions.?

The Deloitte People Fund is a grant programme that our people can apply to for funding and time off to support those initiatives that matter to them but which are also aligned to our global objectives: WorldClass – to help lift 100 million people out of poverty; WorldClimate - to move to NetZero; and ALL-IN - to create greater equity in our diverse world.?

It is designed to tap into that entrepreneurial spirit our people have – giving them an avenue through which they can really develop their purpose and make their impact in the community.?
