A great quote from the God Father of fitness, Jack LaLanne. I’ve echoed these same thoughts on using the scale as a measure of progress for years.
The scale is a general guideline you can use if you are very overweight but as you get in better shape and start getting leaner and leaner the less it will tell you about your fat loss progress, or lack of.
