Khai Ming Ooi, Finance Manager, STRATACACHE Asia-Pacific

1. Describe yourself and your role.I am the Finance Manager for STRATACACHE in Singapore. My responsibility is to ensure the financial health of the organisation by monitoring, controlling, and reporting on the company ‘s financial resources.
2. How long have you been with the company?I have been here for 2 years.
3. What is your favourite part of working at our company?The company communicates their expectations clearly and creates great opportunities for growth.
4. What has been the biggest challenge or proudest moment of your career?My proudest moments are when I can successfully resolve the problems and issues that the company and colleagues have encountered.
5. What is one thing that you wish people knew about your job?It gives me the opportunity to diversify my skills, making the data and information more valuable.
6. How would you describe your company culture?The company culture is Collaborative, Innovative and Flexible.
7. What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?If I could give advice to my younger self, I would say, “Embrace every opportunity that comes your way, even if it scares you. Take risks, learn from your mistakes, and never be afraid to ask for help.Remember to prioritise self-care and surround yourself with positive influences. And most importantly, always believe in yourself and your abilities, because you are capable of achieving great things.”
