Justin Hughes, Head of Sales ANZ/SEA STRATACACHE Asia-Pacific

1.?????Describe yourself and your role.

Hi, my name is Justin Hughes and I am Head of Sales for ANZ and SEA for STRATACACHE family of businesses. I live with my wife, 9 year old daughter, 5 year old twins (boy and girl) and family pet dog.

2.????How long have you been with the company?

I have been with the company since December 2019.

3.????What is your favourite part of working at our company?

I really enjoy the culture and collaboration with colleagues all over Asia-Pacific. We have built a strong team across APAC, and I enjoy listening and learning from a broad range of people and cultures. The company’s technology excites me for the future, and I believe we have innovative digital signage and marketing technology solutions to change and facilitate customer experiences.?

4.???What has been the biggest challenge or proudest moment of your career?

As Head of Sales, the biggest challenge is educating the market about the scale and speed of our growing portfolio of innovative technology. My proudest moments are the large enterprise project wins. Some enterprise opportunities take years to close and implement, and seeing the end result is always a proud moment.?

5.????What is one thing that you wish people knew about your job?

The number of challenging conversations we have with partners and clients and the time taken to build relationships. Sales is not about just receiving an order; the discussions and negotiations to find the best solutions while providing the best value for clients are a unique balancing act.

6.???How would you describe your company culture?

The company has an excellent culture, especially for a business that has grown within APAC from 2019 to this point. It is a real testament to our culture that we are already in a position of leadership. The positive culture has come from the MD and his office, who have instilled a culture of helping, communicating and being a part of a successful APAC team. This has filtered through to teams, creating a strong bond.

7.????What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?

Be a ‘sponge’, listen to people intently, especially leaders, stakeholders and experienced campaigners to absorb and gain key insights into the business world. Start a document of all the little pieces you pick up. These insights over your journey will be invaluable in business and life.
