Latest on the Corporate Net-Zero revision process

On July 30 we published four technical outputs as part of the research phase of the Corporate Net-Zero Standard (CNZS) revision process. These comprise:

The next major step in the revision process will be the publication of the draft standard for public consultation. We’ll share more information about how to take part in the consultation closer to the time.?

In the meantime, we invite you to share your insights on the scope 3 discussion paper. Your feedback will help inform the development of the CNZS V2.0 public consultation draft, in line with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Development of SBTi Standards.

Events and Opportunities

Help Shape the SBTi’s Financial Institutions Net-Zero Standard

We are seeking experts from the finance sector, academia and civil society worldwide to review and give feedback on our Draft Financial Institution Net-Zero Standard. The public consultation survey will be open until September 20.

We will also host a webinar to kick off the first pilot test, provide an overview of the development process, detail the contents of the latest draft and explain how to get involved in the public consultation.

We will hold two sessions on August 22 across time zones:


Consultancy support for the Power Sector Standard development

We are seeking to hire a technical partner that can provide support to the project team in writing the draft standard, integrating the outputs of other work packages into the final draft and supporting the project manager with project management, such as supporting Expert Advisory Group (EAG) meetings.
