Inspiring the Next Generation of Educators

The more than 200 students who joined us for this incredible event are preparing to enter the early childhood education field. We were elated to empower the next generation of educators by introducing them to meaningful career opportunities in early education.?
By connecting students with industry leaders, mentors and fellow educators, we create a strong network that promotes collaboration, growth and shared success. Together, we ensure that future early childhood educators are well-prepared to positively impact the lives of young learners and the communities they serve.
Building Blocks for Student Success
East Valley SELPA hosted over 200 parents and guardians at its second annual Parent Resource Fair. This year’s theme, “Building Supports for Students with Disabilities - Together Parents and Educators Provide the Building Blocks for Student Success,” highlighted the importance of connecting families with a wide range of resources, in one convenient location.
Attendees were welcomed by the incredible East Valley SELPA staff, district liaisons and 50 vendors and exhibitors from government, nonprofit and business partners who provided essential information on critical resources and services available throughout the community.
In addition to offering valuable information, the event fostered stronger relationships between community members and partners, reinforcing our shared commitment to continuous support for families.
Celebrating Decades Dedicated to Transforming Lives
Almost 150 SBCSS staff members attended the Harvest Luncheon, our annual event where we enjoy a meal, take part in an exciting giveaway, and celebrate our dedicated team members.
From office specialists, to paraprofessionals, to accounting technicians - this year, it was our honor to recognize and congratulate 20 individuals who have dedicated 20, 25, 30, or 35 service years with SBCSS.
