Say So launches. What a response!!!

www.say-so.co.uk has all the information, explanations and background research and reports that has led to Shaun Keep and Paul Adams creating a new service dedicated to the care sector. From their own experience in conducting and reviewing public protection investigations and from their research it is clear that serious care failures are often preceded by care staff noticing poor standards or other wrongdoing by colleagues but these concerns were not raised. There are many reasons for this but Say So can accommodate all of them. Fundamentally, people only report matters of concern when they are comfortable and confident that they and their information will be treated professionally. Look at what happens when this is in place, crimestoppers, childline, the reports about Savile and the more recent reports about child abuse in sport have all had remarkable impact upon their respective enquiries.

Paul and I travelled to the Marsham Court Hotel in Bournemouth on 10th May for the launch of Say So at the Caring UK care conference and exhibition. We were made welcome by the hosts CaringUK and Scriptmedia (special thanks to Bev and Tony) and we were overwhelmed by the unanimously positive reception we received from the delegates at the event. Dozens of attendees spoke with us and gave us encouraging feedback about our service, our motivation to make a difference in the care sector and the need for ever improved communication within care providing companies.

Say So has begun and we look forward to an exciting future where we can help to reduce risks and raise standards by working in partnership with care companies.
